Pistacia X ‘Red Push’
A wonderful shade tree with vibrant fall color, this hybrid between P. atlantica and P. integerrima is a long-lived deciduous tree with a moderate growth rate, developing a broad, spreading crown. New foliage emerges reddish in color giving this tree the common name Red Push. Both drought and cold tolerant, this tree can also adapt to a wide variety of soils.

Size: up to 30′ tall x 40′ wide
Watering: Regular deep watering. As with all trees, emitters should be moved to the perimeter of the canopy once established.

Uses: Shade. Bird nesting habitat.
Notes: Young trees are a bit misshapen but become shapely with age. Leaves can be toxic to horses. Nondescript flowers. Non-allergenic.
